Welcome back to planDisney, Yuka! I’m absolutely thrilled to see you again! In just a few weeks, you’ll be starting this amazing adventure at one of my favorite spots in Disney World, the beautiful and always fun
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Your family is in for a world of possibilities that will create memories to last a lifetime, and I'm here to ensure your 9-year-old princess has access to everything she dreams of!
To get started, you can easily do all the activities that require advanced reservations through your My Disney Experience account on a computer or the
My Disney Experience app once you're in the United States. It’s super convenient! Your go-to resource will be the
Recreation page, which lists all the wonderful activities and experiences available at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. For instance, the
Fort Wilderness Archery Experience is open to all guests aged 7 and older, with each session lasting 75 minutes. While walk-ups are welcome if space allows, booking in advance is available and recommended. Isn’t that exciting? Class sizes are limited to 10 guests, and each marksman receives personalized tips from the Archery Guides to help you refine your archery skills.
Other activities, such as Pony rides and wagon rides, are available on a walk-in basis and cannot be reserved in advance.
Now, let’s chat about reservation windows for experiences at Walt Disney World Resort, such as dining reservations and the available
Enchanting Extras Collection experiences. Since you’re staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you can make reservations for your entire stay (up to 10 nights) up to 60 days before your arrival. Experiences like archery, part of the Enchanting Extras Collection, can typically be booked starting at 6:00 AM on the day they become available.
I hope this info helps with your planning, Yuka! If you have any other questions before your trip, please
come back anytime and let us know. We’re always here and happy to assist wonderful friends like you!
Cheers,
Nilson
