Hello, We have the sports and water tickets for our 7 day stay in February 2023. Are we able to go to the water park at anytime during our stay? I’m also wanting to order magic bands. Should I do this now so they are at the resort when we get there?

Hello, and welcome to planDisney, Megan!

Get ready to have a blast during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort during the 50th Anniversary Celebration, and with the Water Park and Sports Option on your Standard Theme Park Tickets, you will be allowed to visit a water park or other Walt Disney World fun for a certain number of visits. For example, a 1-day ticket allows one (1) visit, a 3-day ticket allows three (3) visits and so forth (subject to change). Therefore, with your seven (7) day Standard Theme Park Ticket with the Water Park and Sports Option you would be allowed seven (7) visits with the choice of one of the following on those visits, Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park (if it opens), ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex (if it becomes available), Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course, Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course – FootGolf, Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course or Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature golf Course before 4:00 PM (subject to change). For further clarification or inquiries, I invite you to contact Walt Disney World Resort - Tickets at your earliest convenience.

Megan, it's a good idea to pre-purchase your MagicBands/MagicBand+ devices soon by signing into your Disney account and accessing My MagicBands and Cards beneath the My Disney Experience planning tab on the top right of the main page. I recommend taking a screenshot of your  MagicBands/MagicBand+ device confirmation page in the event of any discrepancy. As you are aware, the MagicBands will be available for pick-up upon your arrival at the Front Desk of your Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, hopefully, one day soon MagicBands will be shipped to Canada.

While you are signed into your Disney account online, it’s a good idea to complete your Disney Resort hotel Online Check-In to expedite your arrival with Direct-to-Room Service which is helpful for receiving updates regarding the details of your Guest Room as well as being able to unlock your Guest Room door using your MagicBands or mobile device.

Don't forget to secure the required Disney Park Pass Reservations for each valid day of admission for everyone in your travel party, as this is the method of visiting the theme parks at this time (subject to change).

Megan, it was such a pleasure assisting you today, please feel free to pop back over to ask us for more first-hand tips and advice, thank you so much!

    Best Disney Wishes from Canada!
