Hey there Matthew,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! It looks like your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth is coming up in just a few weeks - have you started counting down the days, yet?
There's not much that beats the magic of the
Disneyland Resort hotels. There are so many fun nooks and crannies to explore as well as some delicious places to eat.
I'm happy to share that the vast majority of these places are open to non-hotel Guests as well! Even if you're not staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel, you're still able to make
dining reservations at hotel restaurants, visit the
Adventure Lawn Gazebo, order a drink and relax in a rocking chair in the lobby area of
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, order a snack or coffee from
The Coffee House, and more.
Typically, the only areas and activities that are reserved specifically for hotel Guests are floors with hotel rooms and pool areas. Other than that, you should be good to explore - just make sure to follow the directions from Cast Members or signs wherever you go.
Thanks again for your question, Matthew! I hope you have a wonderful time visiting the Disneyland Resort.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
