Hello, We are planning on visiting Disneyland in late August and buying a 4 day pass (not park hopper) for 4 people. How far in advance should we make our park reservations and purchase the e-tickets? Thanks for your help, Vanessa

Hi Vanessa! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

I bet you're excited about your upcoming visit to Disneyland Resort. August is a great time for a trip. My family visited in August, and I recommend you pack sunscreen, sunglasses, clothing suitable for warmer temperatures, and reusable water bottles. Swimsuits are also a good idea. We like to take a break in the afternoon and refresh with a dip in the pool at Disneyland Hotel before returning for more magic in the evening.

Disneyland Resort theme park reservations work on a 120-day rolling window, so the window for your visit is already open. Parks do fill up, especially during popular times to visit, so I would recommend you complete your admission ticket purchase and make theme park reservations as soon as possible. If your preferred date or preferred park would become unavailable, that would be a very non-magical outcome!

Also, if you're interested in making dining reservations, the date to do so is quickly approaching. Dining reservations operate on a 60-day window. You can book a dining reservation even before you have purchased your admission tickets, so set a reminder for yourself on your mobile device even if you're waiting on the admission ticket purchase. Popular locations, such as Blue Bayou Restaurant in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park book up really fast, so you'll want to secure your must-dos soon.

    Have a magical visit!
