Bonjour!
Welcome back to planDisney, DonnaMarie, this time with a question about your holiday to
Disneyland Paris! I love helping fellow Guests plan the perfect trip to Disney Destinations, and it’s extra special when they’re fellow East Anglians! I’ve been lucky enough to visit all the Disney Parks around the world, and in my opinion,
Disneyland Park in Paris is the most beautiful of them all (just don’t tell Magic Kingdom I said that!).
Dining booking windows are slightly different from what we’re used to at Walt Disney World. Guests who have booked a
Hotel + Ticket Package for Disneyland Paris can make dining reservations on the
Disneyland Paris app as soon as they link their booking confirmation to their account.
Character breakfasts at
Plaza Gardens Restaurant cannot be booked via the app until 3 days before your visit. However, if your balance has been paid in full, you can add this experience to your package in advance on the Disneyland Paris website. If not, I recommend
speaking to a Cast Member, who can help add it for you. There may be planned closures preventing availability to book, which could affect the restaurants at Disney's Sequoia Lodge as the hotel undergoes an exciting refurbishment!
Some popular restaurants, such as
Downtown Restaurant at Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel and
Bistrot Chez Rémy, can be trickier to secure. If there’s no availability, they won’t appear on the app. My top tip? Check the app regularly. I usually manage to grab the reservations I want closer to my arrival date, as other Guests finalise their plans and release reservations they no longer need.
You’ll be visiting at a very exciting time, as Walt Disney Studios Park continues its transformation into Disney Adventure World. The park is being reimagined from front to back, and I can’t wait for you to experience it. There’s so much magic on the horizon!
I hope this helps with your plans, DonnaMarie. Planning is half the fun, right? If you have any more questions, please
reach out to me. I’d love to help!
Have a magical day,
Matt
