Hello We are planning a vacation during first / second weeks of March. Is the monorail under constrution during this time ? We are staying off site and were planning on using the monorail. Is there any other option available ? Thanks

    Hi there, Shilpa!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Moms Panel! Your vacation is right around the corner and I'm sure there is lots of excitement going on at your house!

The Magic Kingdom Resort and Express monorails will be undergoing scheduled maintenance until late March. So, during non-peak times between 11:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on weekdays, that monorail will not be available. During this temporary schedule adjustment, boats and additional buses will be available to transport Guests to their destinations.

If you are heading to Magic Kingdom Park, you'll still be able to park your car at the Transportation and Ticket Center then hop on a boat that will take you to the Magic Kingdom Park entrance. You'll also be able to take the monorail from the Transportation and Ticket Center to Epcot as that monorail line is not affected by the maintenance taking place right now.

The complimentary transportation throughout the Walt Disney World Resort will get you here and there and everywhere!

I hope this helps, Shilpa! Please write back in if we can help with any other questions you have!

Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
