Welcome to planDisney, Quin! It's a pleasure to be the one answering your first question to us. We hope you keep coming back!
At this time, you don't need to bring birth certificates for your children under 3 years old. Cast Members at the
Walt Disney World Resort understand that little ones come in all different sizes and do not require proof.
But let me tell you, being a "Guest of Mickey" comes with its perks. Not only do our friends under the age of 3 not need
theme park tickets to enter the parks, but as long as they are eating off of your plate, you typically don't have to pay for their meal at many
table-service restaurants. Of course, if you see something that you want to order specifically for them, you will be charged for that item, but as I said before, if they are simply sharing what's on your plate, there typically isn't a charge. But the best part about bringing your little one? Letting them explore the worlds of the stories they've been growing up with at the resort, and you as the parent watching them experience it for the first time. And whether they remember it or not, you will...and I don't know that there's a price you can place on that!
At
planDisney, we have a lot of resources to help you plan for a trip to the resort with your little ones. You'll want to
check out the planDisney Podcast episode all about this important topic. Then there are our guides to so many other elements to help you plan the best vacation ever with little ones:
attractions,
meet and greets,
dining,
baby care centers,
resort hotels,
planning a resort day,
stroller rentals, and
packing for a day in the parks. And of course,
we have thousands of already published answers on the site and you are always welcome to
reach out to us again with any questions you may have!
Best wishes for a wonderful vacation and be sure to arrive early on your check-in day as
a visit to the open water park on your arrival day is included with a 2025 Disney Resorts Collection Hotel stay (dependent on park operating hours and weather conditions).
Think happy thoughts,
Matt
