Bonjour, Stephanie!
I'm so glad you've chosen to
be our guest at
planDisney today. Like Lumiere helped Belle navigate the Beast's castle, I'm here to be your guide as you put together the perfect
Walt Disney World adventure. Let's dig into your
dining plan question!
Currently, you cannot exchange quick service and table service meals with the dining plan. You must redeem your quick-service meals at quick-service eateries and table-service meals at table-service restaurants. To easily keep track of your meals, tap "My Resort" on the My Disney Experience app home screen. Then, scroll down until you see the option to "Check Dining Plan," and click here. You should see an updated list of remaining meals and snacks.
Best wishes for a truly memorable culinary adventure, Stephanie. No worries if you want to sit down for a table service meal but didn't plan ahead. My family prefers to be spontaneous with our dining on vacation, so we often use the
My Disney Experience app to join a restaurant's
walk-up list. Click the + button at the bottom of the screen from anywhere on the app. Then select "Check Dining Availability," note your party size, and tap the button that says "Join a Walk-up List." Here, you'll see a list of restaurants accepting Guests on their walk-up list and an approximate wait time. A few weeks ago, my family and I were seated at
50's Prime Time Café about 45 minutes after landing a spot on the walk-up list.
I hope this has been helpful! If you're visiting during this fall's
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, the
Global Marketplaces are excellent places to use your snack credits to sample various dishes from around the world. Look for the purple and white snack icon to confirm items are included in your dining plan. Thanks for stopping by planDisney, and have a magical day!
Bon appetit,
Betsy
