Hello We are planning to travel mid November 2015. Our daughter will then be 16 months old. Are there any activities for her at Disney Orlando? What would be the best Disney hotel to stay at? Is mid Nov a good time to arrive? Many thanks.

    Greetings Sameer!

November is a lovely time to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth. In fact, fall at Walt Disney World Resort is my favorite time! The parks usually aren't too busy until Thanksgiving week and even then, they are still manageable with a little planning. We also adore the slightly cooler weather.

My kiddos have been visiting Walt Disney World Resort since they were tiny tots, so I can assure you, there is plenty to see and do with them in mind. Planning for Pre-School Kids and Little Ones is a perfect site to check out the children friendly attractions, view sample itineraries and get even more tips and tricks.

With little ones, I like to stay as close to the magic as I can, so trips back for nap time are as easy as can be. If it's within budget, I recommend one of the "monorail resorts" which include Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney's Coronado Springs Resort come second in the list due to the great pools and playground areas friendly for children.

Please let me know if there is anything else I may assist you with in planning your autumn adventure.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
