Hello-We are planning on going in May of 2015. We are trying to decide if we should stay at AOA Family Suite or Wilderness Lodge standard room?We have a 4 and 6 year old boy. Thanks!

    Howdy Angela,

It's great to hear from a fellow Texan! How exciting to be planning your upcoming 2015 trip. I'm happy to assist you in your resort decision making. You have chosen two fantastic resorts, so there are great reasons to choose either. Let me offer a few opinions about why you should choose one over the other, while still making the best choice for your family.

While I will tell you that Disney's Wilderness Lodge is my all-time favorite resort, I would actually lean toward's Disney's Art of Animation for your family. The family suites in the Cars section might offer the perfect place for your young boys. The theming is absolutely spectacular with the attention to the smallest details in the rooms. They are spacious and offer two bathrooms, a small kitchenette, and some unique features you can't find at any other resort. Not to mention, the price could be a little more budget friendly at this value resort as opposed to a standard room with less space at a deluxe resort like Disney's Wilderness Lodge. The Big Blue Pool at Disney's Art of Animation is the largest on property and offers a zero-entry pool, splash area and state of the art technology, where you can actually hear music under water!

Keep in mind that your boys could really enjoy the rustic lodge-like rooms of Disney's Wilderness Lodge and this resort is a bit more convenient transportation wise to Magic Kingdom. So, either way, I'm sure you will have a magical stay.

Happy Planning! Feel free to stop back by with more questions as they might come up. We're here to help.
