Hi Johanna,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love traveling to Walt Disney World Resort with a big group and you've got some fabulous options!
Johanna, select Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts feature two-bedroom villas that sleep nine. My family absolutely
loved the two-bedroom villa at
Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort when we visited as a party of nine. There were three full bathrooms, two bedrooms, and the location was amazing: the monorail goes right through the Contemporary, and you can walk to Magic Kingdom Park. The two-bedroom villas are wonderful because they also include a full kitchen, which is great for hanging out together.
Other resorts featuring two-bedroom villas that sleep nine are: Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village, The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Old Key West Resort. There are also a limited number of three-bedroom Grand Villas at select Disney Deluxe Resorts.
My advice is to take a look at the room specifications for the two-bedroom villas, as some sleep eight rather than nine. Layouts can vary, and you know what the sleeping and privacy preferences of your group are, so take a look and see what works for you.
Another fun idea might be the three-bedroom Treehouse Villas at Disney’s
Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa. Those are in an ideal location if you’re planning to spend time in
Disney Springs; you can walk across the bridge and be right in the middle of delicious dining, shopping, and entertainment!
Wishing you a magical vacation!
