Hello Michele! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
When booking a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, there are so many options and things to consider that it sometimes becomes difficult to maneuver through all of the Endless Magic. Such is the case for purchasing single day tickets for any of the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks from the website.
The good news is that I think that I may have figured out the issue for your problem and concur that all of that pixie dust clouds the solution. When you
go to purchase tickets online and select "Products and Prices for All Guests" you are asked to select the number of days you are interested in. At this point, every length (from 2-10 days) has a minimum listed price when you choose that particular amount of days. What may be confusing is that under the selection for a 1 day ticket it states "Prices vary by date and theme park" but does not list a price. By clicking directly on the 1 for number of days, a calendar should open below that allows you to pick the day you are interested in visiting and the corresponding price for certain dates.
From there, simply choose your date and an additional menu will appear below allowing you to choose the number of adult and children tickets, the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park you wish to visit and whether you are interested in adding the Park Hopper Option to your 1-day ticket. That should take you to the point where you can "Add to Cart", pay for your tickets and link them to your My Disney Experience App to begin
setting up your FastPass+ selections for the date of your visit.
If you are still having difficulties ordering 1 day tickets, I recommend contacting Walt Disney World Resort to order tickets at (407)939-7679.
Have a Magical Vacation!
