Hello. We are looking to book a cruise in July of 2024 preferably out of New Orleans. There aren’t many offerings into 2024 will more be scheduled? When should we check and if we book and it goes more on sale can we take advantage?

Hi there, Amanda! We are happy to see you! Welcome to planDisney.

I’m thrilled to hear that you’re thinking of booking a Disney Cruise Line vacation in 2024! I love it when my summer plans include a voyage board a Disney ship.

The Disney Magic is scheduled to sail from New Orleans in January, February, and March. While not the news you hoped to hear, you can hop aboard the Disney Magic in July out of Fort Lauderdale. There are even a few dates that stop at Disney’s newest island, Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. The Disney Parks Blog recently shared more information about this incredible destination.

If your travel dates are flexible, look at the Special Offers page on the Disney Cruise Line website under Plan a Cruise. Currently, Canadian residents can save up to 25% on select sailings. I took a peek, and a few dates are listed from New Orleans. These discounts cannot be combined with any other offers. I utilized one of these special rates on my Alaskan cruise last summer. Keep in mind that discounts can change. I hope you’re able to book your vacation at sea soon!

As your plans start to take shape, please sail our way again. We love sharing our experiences with Guests like you!

    SEAS the adventure!

Ahoy! Just like Moana, I feel the irresistible call of the sea. I think the best vacation is aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship – thankfully, my family agrees. Whether savoring gelato in Italy, snorkeling in Mexico, or basking in the sea breeze on deck, each destination fills us with memories to last a lifetime. I look forward to helping your family plan a Disney Cruise Line adventure brimming with cherished moments!
