Hello Natalie,
You have picked a wonderful time of year to visit! All of the Parks and Resorts are festively decorated and overflowing with the spirit of the holiday season. My favorite seasonal offering,
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, takes place during this time of year. The "snow" falling on Main Street, U.S.A., Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade, and Holiday Wishes fireworks are guaranteed to make your holiday celebration magical and memorable!
Although Thanksgiving is a very busy time at the
Walt Disney World Resort, the crowd level decreases during the week following the holiday. That said, the Monday following the holiday is still quite busy, so I would visit Magic Kingdom Park on the Tuesday or Thursday after Thanksgiving. During our many visits at this time of year, it has been my experience that the crowd level is significantly less on those particular days after the holiday.
In early December, the Florida weather during the day is usually mild, but it can get quite chilly in the evenings. Check the weather forecast prior to your arrival and pack a warm jacket, gloves, and a scarf just in case.
I hope this information helps. Please stop back by should you have any additional vacation planning questions!
Pixie Dusted Wishes,
Susan
