Bright suns, Frederic!
Thank you so much for sending us your question, and welcome to planDisney, the official interplanetary help guide for Disney fans from across the galaxy! I am so excited to answer a question from a fellow québécois as I always love helping guests visiting from our lovely planet. One of my favourite parts about visiting the planet Batuu is its three suns and warm climate. It sure beats the cold and snowy days back home!
I am glad to hear that you will be acquiring some droids on your visit to Batuu. With three kids, I am sure you could use the help from little droid friends! As you know, the
Droid Depot requires each builder to be at least 14 years of age or to be accompanied by a fellow Jedi aged 14 and older. In addition, droid apprentices may be accompanied by one guest while building their droid. However, the guest will not be able to make a droid as well. Unfortunately, this means that each of your young recruits would have to be accompanied and that you would need multiple reservations to ensure everyone may enter the Droid Depot. Upon your arrival, you may ask the Batuu citizens running the shop if they will allow you to bring your whole party, but this would be at their discretion. If you experience issues finding enough reservation times to accommodate your whole party, you can always contact the Depot directly
via chat, email or phone, or ask for same-day availability on the day of your visit.
Now, Frederic, once you have built your droid helpers, there are a few other things you and your family can enjoy all together. Personally, I always have to stop by the
Milk Stand to enjoy a cold glass of blue or green milk. As a staple beverage on the planet of Tatooine, it is a must-try if you want to follow in Master Luke Skywalker's footsteps. Next, you may bring your recruits to tour the
Millennium Falcon or the
Batuu system, and who knows what kind of adventures might await you there! Make sure to double-check the height requirements for your recruits before embarking on any intergalactic adventures. Lastly, stop by
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo to fuel up before returning to Earth. Your little ones are sure to love the Ithorian Pasta Rings, and I cannot recommend the Felucian Kefta and Hummus Garden Spread enough!
I hope this was helpful, Frederic, and that you and your family will have the most amazing journey on your upcoming trip to Batuu. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, please don't hesitate to reach out. We always love to help, especially from one resistance member to another!
Ignite the spark, and may the force be with you,
Ariane
