Hi Patricia, welcome back to planDisney!
Unfortunately, the Grand 1 Yacht has not been available for a few years now. There haven’t been any announcements regarding its return to service, but maybe one day we’ll see an update on
Disney Parks Blog for its “Grand” return!
I know you said the current
Fireworks Cruise option is not ideal, but I have to share that a few years ago I enjoyed a Fireworks Cruise with a group of about 30 people. Of course, we had to split into several boats, but we still had a wonderful time. For these cruises, you are asked to arrive at the marina one hour and 15 minutes before the fireworks start time. As a group, we were able to grab drinks from the Resort and chat before heading out onto the water. During the fireworks cruise, our boat captain took us on a tour of Bay Lake until it was time to find our spot near Magic Kingdom with an amazing view of
Happily Ever After! After Happily Ever After ended, we took another tour around Seven Seas Lagoon before watching the
Electrical Water Pageant and returning to the marina. Although we were divided into different boats, I think everyone really enjoyed this
Enchanting Extra. I’ve also taken a fireworks cruise with my young family, and the kids had a great time as well.
I know this wasn’t the news you were hoping for, Patricia, but I do hope you’ll consider the Fireworks Cruises at Magic Kingdom or EPCOT. If you have any more questions as you continue planning your magical milestone vacation, please come back to see us again at
