Hello, We are hoping to come to the park October 20-24, 2025. Can you give me a sense of how the crowds will be that week? Thanks! Rachel

    Rachel,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! This sounds like an exciting trip you have planned. I love to have the parks to myself and hopefully I can help guide you to that same kind of experience.

Walt Disney World in the fall is very picturesque. Magic Kingdom Park will be kind of spooky and Mickey pumpkins maybe spread out everywhere for the Halloween season. The week you have picked to visit is hard to say what the crowds will look like, but I can tell you there is a runDisney event towards the end of your visit. The 2025 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend is from October 23-26. In my experience the racers will usually start to trickle in a day or two ahead of the race dates. These are well attended events and will have plenty of fans that attend as well.

Some of my strategies for planning park visits, include the times each park is opened and which parks close the latest. I also like to start very early. Disney’s Animal Kingdom is always great to start early, the animals are most active during that time. Kilimanjaro Safaris savanna usually has some fun happenings going on during those early morning tours. If you love a quiet morning I might also recommend taking a stroll around World Showcase at EPCOT. A lot of the locations don’t open at park opening, but you will be able to see a lot more as well as take a lot more pictures. My family of photographers love EPCOT for all of the countries and the little details engrained into all of them.

Speaking of EPCOT, the International Food and Wine Festival will be happening during your stay. Some of the finest ingredients are being mixed up for you at all of the global marketplaces. These food booths have me and countless others coming back every year. The Eat to the Beat Concert Series is always an amazing time. There are some pretty big artists performing during your stay. Hanson will be performing their last day on October 20, and Hoobastank will be performing their first day on October 24. Make sure you get in line for a spot early if you are fans of either of these artists.

I hope this information is helpful for your planning. If you have any other questions you can ask me a question and I will be happy to help again.

    Have a magical stay!
