Hello, We are hoping to book the fantasmic dining package at Rancho Del Zocalo for our upcoming trip in November, but have only seen the dinner option for the second show. Is this option no longer available for a lunch/1st show viewing? Thanks

Oh boy, Melissa! You've come to the right place to discuss Fantasmic! Dining Packages at Disneyland! This is one of my very favorite topics to chat about. Thank you for your great question.

As someone who never misses a chance to see Mickey Mouse battle evil on the Rivers of America when I'm at Disneyland Park, it's nice to know I have a special viewing spot waiting for me. All of the dining package options are great (in my experience), but my personal favorite is Rancho del Zocalo! The food is delicious, the portions are huge, and it's an incredible value, as your designated spot is in roughly the same area as it would be if you booked a dining package at Cafe Orleans or River Belle Terrace (standard). You've made a great choice, Melissa!

According to the Disneyland website, reservations for the Fantasmic! Dining Packages at Rancho del Zocalo start at 11am for lunch (first showing) and 3:30pm for dinner (second showing), but after taking a quick peek, I'm noticing that only the second showing is available for Rancho del Zocalo beginning November 1. (At the time of this writing.) This is likely due to limited availability for dining packages, or your desired date and time haven't quite been released yet. My suggestion is to reserve a backup Fantasmic! Dining Package option or two (like Cafe Orleans for the first showing and/or Rancho del Zocalo for the second showing) and then keep checking for availability for your desired date and time, as the reservation system is updated regularly as Guests modify or cancel plans! I've been lucky enough to snag a dining reservation all the way up to two hours before the time I was hoping for. It's not guaranteed, but magic does happen sometimes! Just make sure to cancel any reservations you will not be using before the cancellation policy deadline or there will be a per person cancellation fee.

Be aware, Melissa, that Fantasmic! in Disneyland Park may occur every night or weekends only, it just depends! I encourage you to keep your eye on the Hours & Events Calendar on the Disneyland website, under "Fireworks & Nighttime Entertainment," for the most current information and to confirm the dates and times Fantasmic! may be occurring during your visit. Make sure your particular date is selected from the "Change Date" at the top. It's important to know, however, that the schedule can change at any time, so stay flexible and let the magic take you where it may!

My Best Fantasmic! Tip: Bring a little travel blanket and, while you wait for the show to begin, enjoy some fresh-baked Pumpkin Cookies from Harbour Galley. Menus are subject to change, but Harbour Galley is my go-to for the best tasting cookies in all of Disneyland Resort (IMHO) and it's located right on the Rivers of America - super convenient. I recommend making a mobile order for these delicious treats!

Melissa, I'm thrilled you'll be in the Happiest Place on Earth to cheer on our Sorcerer Mickey soon! Get ready for a journey beyond your wildest imagination!

    Dream a fantastic dream,
