Hi Alan! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy!
Disney's Boardwalk Inn! My home away from home. I love this resort for countless reasons but the number one has to be its location. You are within walking distance to
Disney's Hollywood Studios and steps away from the International Gateway into
EPCOT. The Skyliner station is a short walk and you can access multiple resorts as well as fly through the sky over to Hollywood Studios. Let's not forget
Disney's Boardwalk itself. There are restaurants, games, shops, and other entertaining experiences happening. You also have Disney's Beach Club and Yacht Club Resorts just across Crescent Lake. You can take a
Friendship Boat across to them or even take the boat over to the theme parks. You really have all options available to you!
Alan, I'm sure traveling with a large group comes with its challenges. Trying to coordinate with everyone and navigate dining and park reservations can take some time. I took a multi-generational vacation with my parents and children a few years back the planning stage was more robust than I was used to. The introduction of
Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lanes adds another layer to the planning process.
Thankfully, your group falls right in the sweet spot for booking Disney Genie+ and
Individual Lightning Lane selections. The maximum number of Guests that one person is allowed to book at a time is 12 people. You can book these reservations for everyone at the same time. When making your selections for the day, just be sure to select each person that is planning on riding the specific attraction. Also, make sure that each Guest is listed on your
Family and Friends list located in your
My Disney Experience account prior to your visit. This has held me up in the past by not having everyone accounted for on there. When you sign in to your account, simply go to Family & Friends to modify or add Guests.
Alan, have the most magical time on your upcoming visit! There is nothing quite like a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
See ya real soon!
