Hi, Crystal!
Welcome, and thanks for your question about exploring the
Disneyland Resort. I’m so happy to hear you’re planning your family’s first magical visit!
I think you’ll be pleased by how many attractions you can enjoy as a family. If an attraction is listed as being for “any height,” then it’s safe for your infant to ride with you! Some favorite attractions my whole family likes to experience together are “it’s a small world,” Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Peter Pan’s Flight, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, Pixar Pal-A-Round, and Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! Check out the complete theme park
attractions list online. It can be sorted by age interest, height requirement and thrill level so you can see what’s suitable for your group.
From Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Disneyland Park to Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! and
Incredicoaster in Disney California Adventure Park, there’s no shortage of thrilling attractions, too. For those rides your infant can’t experience, you may want to take advantage of the
Rider Switch program, which allows Guests with children who don’t meet the minimum height requirement to take turns on attractions. One adult can ride while the other adult waits with the baby. You then "swap" so the second adult can enjoy the attraction without waiting in line all over again.
I hope these tips help you plan, Crystal, and that you enjoy a practically perfect visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
