Velkommen Rune!
I'm so excited to answer a question for a guest from Denmark. I visited your beautiful country last June when I sailed on the Disney Magic from the Port of Copenhagen. I'm glad to hear you'll be flying "across the pond" soon to visit Walt Disney World Resort.
Epcot is the perfect park for your children at their stage of development. It has some amazing thrill rides, such as Test Track and Mission: SPACE alongside some unique, breathtaking pavilions inspired by countries around the world. I'd love to hear after your trip which of the World Showcase pavilions ends up being your favorite.
Although the Disney influence isn't what hits you first when you walk through the turnstiles at Epcot, the company's longstanding storytelling tradition makes itself known. The longer you're there, the more you feel it. For instance,
Frozen Ever After is the quintessential Disney dark ride, but with unprecedented 21st century technology. You're going to love it! And if you want to spend time meeting Disney characters, Epcot's got you covered. I love that you can meet Mary Poppins in her native England and Snow White in Germany. Just check your Times Guide when you enter the park to find when and where you can meet these (and many other) Disney friends.
Have a traditional character meal with Chip 'N Dale at
The Garden Grill or with Disney royalty at
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. Don't forget your autograph books and camera!
Although the Disney influence at Epcot is subtle, it is pervasive. I think you'll find it is the perfect place to spend a magical day with your children.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Jill
