Hello, We are a family of 6. Our children are ages 8,6,3 and 9 months. We enjoyed our first Disney cruise in 2019 and would like to book another trip. What suites are large enough to hold us in one room? Thanks, Colin

    Ahoy, Colin!

Thanks for cruising by planDisney with your question. I'm so happy to hEAR you're ready to set sail on your second Disney Cruise Line vacation! After our first Disney Cruise, we couldn't wait for our next adventure at sea with Captain Mickey and his crew.

When it comes to choosing your accommodations on a Disney Cruise ship, you'll find that Disney Cruise Line offers staterooms for every budget and travel party, with amenities to keep you comfortable and cozy at sea. A typical Disney Cruise Line stateroom sleeps 3-4 Guests, and some can accommodate up to 5. Select Concierge staterooms can fit up to 7 Guests (Concierge Royal Suites with Verandah on the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder).

For a family of six, my suggestion would be to book two connecting staterooms, to provide ample room and the most comfortable arrangements for everyone. The connecting door can be propped open, basically creating a two-bedroom suite for you to enjoy! For select staterooms with verandahs, the divider on the balcony can be removed to create one long balcony between the two rooms - simply ask your Stateroom Host/Hostess for assistance. To book connecting staterooms, you'll need to make sure at least one adult is booked in each stateroom, regardless of the actual sleeping arrangements once you're onboard. The Disney Magic and Disney Wonder have 137 connecting staterooms, while the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy feature over 500. Disney Cruise Line's newest ship, the Disney Wish, will have 451 connecting staterooms to accommodate larger families. The Wish will begin making voyages in Summer 2022. You can look at the Deck Plans for each ship to determine which staterooms connect.

It sounds like you've added a new Mouseketeer to your family since your last Disney Cruise! Disney does a wonderful job to provide Guests of all ages with a magical vacation experience at sea. Make sure to check out these Frequently Asked Questions when Traveling with Infants & Young Children, to stay informed about all the great ways to help your littlest buccaneer (and you!) have the best Disney Cruise Line vacation ever.

I hope this helps, and you'll soon be sailing with Captain Mickey once again!
