Hello-We are so excited for our trip in May 2023! We have reservations for Blue Bayou Fantasmic Dining on 5/20 and can't seem to find the special 3 course menu for this meal. Is that available online? Also does this meal still include a seat cushion?

    Hello, Gloria!

Thanks for making planDisney part of your visit to the Disneyland Resort! I can never say enough good things about Fantasmic! It has been my favorite nighttime spectacular since its debut way back in 1992. I've been watching it for most of my life, and it never loses its magic!

I'm so excited that you're doing the Fantasmic! Dining Package at the Blue Bayou! While the full menu isn't available online (and is subject to availability) it looks like your options could include Hearts of Palm Escabèche, Roasted Mushroom Ragu Pasta, the completely famous Monte Cristo Sandwich & Seasonal Salad, or delicious Prime Rib. It looks like several of these items are included on the regular Blue Bayou menu if you'd like to see more details. Your meal will also include a specialty nonalcoholic drink and a Fantasmic! specialty dessert that is sure to be, well, fantastic!

It sounds like you may be a fellow Fantasmic! expert, since you remember those awesome seat cushions! I flew with mine all the way back to Utah and used it for years at home! Unfortunately, a seat cushion is not currently part of the dining package. I miss it, too! Because seating for the show is less-than-cushy on the ground, we often pack a thin blanket or towel in our park bag to fold a few times and sit on. You'd be surprised how much even a thin layer helps!

After your meal, you'll be given vouchers and instructions on where to meet for the show. Because I'm pixie-sized (which is my magical way to say "really short") we usually opt to arrive about 45 minutes before the time on our voucher so that we're towards the front of our group. Make sure you ask the Cast Members to confirm that you're in the Blue Bayou line because there will be several lines for different dining packages. Once we get our spot we often use mobile ordering and send a runner to grab some food (that is if we didn't just enjoy dinner) so we can snack while we wait for the show. Some good options close by the viewing area are the Stage Door Cafe (hi, chicken strips!) and Royal Street Veranda. And you can't go wrong with my all-time favorite snack: Disneyland Popcorn!

Gloria, whether this is your first time watching Mickey take on his nightmares or your tenth, I'm sending you all the pixie dust for an incredible day! If you have more questions about your visit (characters, snacks, rides, I love it all) please feel free to send me a note here and I'll be happy to help!

    Keep moving forward!
