Hello, Jamie, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by to ask this great question. Sounds like you have a very special visit to the Happiest Place on Earth in the works. Oh boy! Some of my favorite memories in Disneyland are when I get to experience it with other families. I'm so excited for you!
I love your plan to maximize the magic by utilizing
Lightning Lanes. To answer your question, if everyone in your party has park tickets linked in their MyDisney accounts, then anyone can book a Lightning Lane arrival time for anyone in the party! And, yes, you'll all be able to ride at the same time! Once in the parks, use the Tip Board in the
Disneyland app to choose a Lightning Lane Multi Pass attraction and book an available time to ride it. It's simple to select those in your party who would like to experience that particular attraction. Make a reservation for one attraction at a time or after two hours have passed, whichever comes first.
To link park tickets in the
Disneyland app, and use those Lightning Lanes together, click on the (☰) in the bottom righthand corner and tap "My Tickets & Passes." Then select “Link Tickets & Passes” in the top right corner. From here, you can select “Type ID” to type in the theme park ticket numbers which will link tickets of the other members of your party to your MyDisney account! Easy! Now you're ready to zip past those standby lines on popular Disneyland attractions! Let's go!
If you haven't purchased your theme park tickets yet, Jamie, I recommend including Lightning Lane Multi Pass with your park tickets at the time of purchase. This will lock in the lowest rate and ensure that you won't have to worry about purchasing the passes upon entering the parks.
Also, don't forget that unlimited
Disney PhotoPass digital downloads are included with your Lightning Lane Multi Pass! Capture picture-perfect memories of your whole party from a friendly photographer. Our family is so thankful to have these!
I hope this information has been helpful for your planning, Jamie. If you have any other questions that come up, like maybe some tips and recommendations for visiting Disneyland with a large group, please don't hesitate to
stop by again and ask!
Magic awaits,
McCayla
