Howdy Felicia!
We went to
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party three years ago and my 6 year old has been asking to go back ever since.
I initially struggled with the cost of the party but it was worth every penny to see the smiles on my kiddos faces.
There are opportunities to trick-or-treat throughout the Magic Kingdom. We had more candy than a 3 and 1 year old need but it's also very easy to control the number of items you receive. Cast Members are positioned at locations throughout the Theme Park so you pick and choose your trick-or-treating opportunities.
There is also great entertainment, including a special Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade and a fantastic fireworks display.
Disney Characters are dressed in Halloween costumes and you will have countless opportunities for photos that you don't typically experience when you are in the theme park. We took pictures of our kiddos with Prince Phillip and Prince Charming. Snow White was accompanied to the party with 7 of her favorite friends. It's was magical experience for Guests of all ages!
Another huge bonus is that you will enjoy smaller crowds and the opportunity to delight in shorter (or sometimes no) lines on some of your favorite attractions!
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was a highlight for us! Per my current 4 year old, "it's not scary and you need to add it to your must do list."
Thanks so much for your question and please let me know if you need any further information as you plan your vacation. Have a magical day!
