Hi there, Jennifer-welcome to planDisney, where life is the bubbles and we've got no troubles! I'm happy to dive into action to assist with your aquatic query.
The
Walt Disney World Resort water parks are so much fun for the entire family. A day at
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park or
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is a great way to cool off in the Florida heat and experience some really unique attractions with all of the magical Disney touches you would expect. Between the two parks, I just can't pick a favorite! The
Surf Pool at Typhoon Lagoon is always on my must-do list, but I equally adore tackling
Teamboat Springs at Blizzard Beach with our party of four!
Typically when the calendar flips to winter, one of the water parks will close for renovations, while the other remains open. Currently, Blizzard Beach is open daily, but we're still awaiting
park hours for spring break and beyond. We're visiting in late March and I'll be checking, too! I also recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog, which is a great source of information for all things happening in the parks. I imagine we'll see an announcement there in the not-too-distant future! As Guests no longer require park reservations at present (subject to change, of course), you can wait a bit to decide which tickets you wish to purchase once you're armed with more information.
If you're looking for something else that's fun to do outside of the parks, we always enjoy the Walt Disney World miniature golf courses. You can usually walk up and have a minimal wait, and the courses are interactive and engaging.
Winter Summerland Miniature Golf is located just next to Blizzard Beach, while
Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf can be found near the EPCOT resort area.
Well, Jennifer, I hope your April vacation goes swimmingly! If I can help with any additional questions as your trip approaches, don't hesitate to
reach out to me directly. Thanks again for visiting planDisney!
