Hello, We are coming to DisneyWorld from Australia in July and want to book both for the droid and lightsaber build, but am concerned about flying back with bulky items. Is international shipping available from the parks to ship both back to Australia?

Hiya, Rebecca! Welcome to planDisney, where our goal is to help our fellow Disney-loving Guests plan magical Disney vacations. I'm so happy to see you here!

Building your own lightsaber and droid at Savi's Workshop and Droid Depot respectively is so much fun! I've had the chance to partake in these experiences a couple of times in the past, and they've never ceased to amaze me. I just know that you're going to love it, and the best part is that you get to go home with two unique souvenirs!

Unfortunately, Rebecca, souvenir shipping from the Walt Disney World Resort is currently available to domestic Guests only. However, please keep in mind that lightsabers are all around 40" in length (the exact length will depend on the pieces that you end up picking) and droids range between 7" to 9" in width and 10" to 13" in length, so you shouldn't run into any trouble bringing them as carry-on items on the plane.

If you'd really prefer to ship your items home, I would suggest that you take some time out of your day to visit a FedEx or UPS store. As an international Guest myself, I can tell you that this is the route I've taken in the past, and it's very convenient as well!

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to come back and ask me. I'm always happy to help!

    See you real soon,

    Ana Paula
