Hello, We are coming to Disney in Nov. and if I am lucky, I am hoping to book a Character Dining with the Princesses. I have a 5 yr old girl & 9 yr old boy. Will HE be bored? Should I just go with her & leave daddy & son to go do something els

    Hi Cynthia,

The decision is entirely up to you but I can tell you that my 8-year-old son has never once complained about attending a character meal with the Disney Princesses.

I myself love to dine at Cinderella's Royal Table and as I don't have any daughters, he has always accompanied me. He likes the way that young Princes are given a sword as they enter the restaurant (young Princesses are given a magic wand) and enjoys participating in the wishing ceremony which takes place during the meal.

I have just asked his opinion and he says that he thinks dining with the Disney Princesses is brilliant.

If you son is really uninterested, then perhaps it would be better for the girls to enjoy this meal whilst the boys dine elsewhere.

    Wishing you a magical trip!
