Hello, We just bought tickets for the MVMCP and was wondering if we have to leave the park at 7pm and re-enter to prove we have tickets for the event? We plan on already being in the MK that day so we are hoping to just carry on into the night. Thank you

Hi Karen! It sounds like you are going to have a great day planned in the Magic Kingdom this fall.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is one of our families favorite events during the year. It is sure to get your holiday spirits up and running when you walk down Main Street to see the beautiful castle lit up with millions of lights while the snow falls upon your head.

The official time for the party to begin is indeed 7pm. You will not have to leave the park but you will need to go to one of the several spots where they can verify your ticket and present you with a wrist band that you will need to wear throughout the evening. Starting at 7pm guests without a wrist band will be asked politely to leave the park and they will not be allowed on any attraction, in the stores, or in the dining spots. They are also not allowed to sit and watch the parade and fireworks that evening. The park is open only to those who have paid for the extra event ticket.

Starting at 4pm you can get your wristband as that is the time they will allow guests to enter under the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party ticket. That gives you three hours to continue to enjoy your park day and manage to stop to redeem the ticket for the band. Have a great time and cherish the magic of the holiday lights!
