Hello, We booked the Star wars a galactic spectacular dessert party at Disney Hollywood studios for May. However, I am worried about the viewing area. Is it overly crowded and if we are not in the front of the viewing area can a small child see?

Greetings Pam, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

How exciting to have booked the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party at Disney's Hollywood Studios for this May! While I haven't attended the dessert party, I have seen the fireworks and they were incredible!

On our last visit I looked at the reserved viewing area and I've also looked at several online reviews and I don't think you have too much to be worried about. It appears there is a small area at the front of the viewing space where they allow children to sit, giving them the best view. As with most experiences at Walt Disney World Resort, getting there early and planning ahead will ensure your best chance of the perfect spot. While Cast Members start directing Guests to the reserved viewing area about 15-minutes before the fireworks are scheduled to start, you can leave Star Wars Launch Bay a few minutes before then and wait at the rope of the reserved viewing area to enhance your chance for a better spot. Honestly, the show is really amazing and no matter where you end up, you'll enjoy it.

If there is anything else we are able to assist you with, Pam, please let us know. Have a spectacular Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

May The Force Be With You,
