Hello, Victoria! Thank you for stopping by again with another great question.
Eek! You’re just days away from boarding the Disney Dream for Northern Europe! This itinerary is definitely on my bucket list. I can’t wait for you to take in all the natural beauty around you. You might even be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights!
As we learned from Anna, if the sky is awake, you have to play! And there’s a whole lot of fun to be had onboard. There is something for everyone, from Broadway-style musicals to variety acts, trivia, and deck parties! I contacted a Cast Member who said that Anna, Elsa, and their friends have plans to
"Freeze the Night Away" during your sailing. The ship transforms into a wintery wonderland with a flurry of activities happening all day. Even the dining rooms take part and feature some traditional Nordic cuisine. Once you board, check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to see the full entertainment schedule and to check which night this event takes place.
The app will also display your table number, dining rotation, and suggested attire. Formal night is scheduled for Sunday evening when you depart from Cherbourg, France. Semi-Formal night is Saturday towards the end of your cruise. I just love the glitz and glamour of these dress-up evenings! Have your camera ready to capture Captain Minnie in her elegant evening gown – so beautiful!
Victoria, I imagine you have your suitcases out and ready to go. Did you know Disney Cruise Line also offers
laundry, pressing, and dry-cleaning services? You'll find a laundry bag and price sheet in your stateroom closet. You can also use the self-serve laundry facilities on decks 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. I like to bring a foldable hamper to keep the room tidy, and it doubles as a laundry basket to take to the laundry room. I hope this helps as you finalize your packing list.
SEAS the adventure!
