Welcome to planDisney, Stephannie!
It seems you are ready to make magical memories at the Walt Disney World Resort! I cannot think of a better place to ring in the New Year, and you will still get to enjoy
holiday festivities from the time you arrive until December 30, 2020.
I am glad to hear you have already made theme park reservations for your family via the
Disney Park Pass system. If a fifth Guest is interested in joining you, it is possible to add them to your party, based on availability. First you need to be sure this visitor has a
Disney account with valid theme park tickets linked to it. Add them to your
Family & Friends list to connect your accounts and start planning together.
The next step is signing in to your Disney account and selecting
Make a Park Reservation. As you create your party, you will notice that you will be automatically selected. Go ahead and remove yourself from the party by unchecking the box - don’t worry, this will not cancel your existing reservation - select the new Guest who will be joining you, and click Continue to choose a date and a theme park. Please note that this cannot be done via the My Disney Experience mobile app.
Once you have made all the reservations, visit
My Plans in My Disney Experience to view your theme park reservations. If you were able to successfully add this Guest, you will see them listed with the rest of your party when you check the details of your theme park reservation. Since you will be visiting during a busy time of the year, and in case this Guest has not purchased tickets yet, first I recommend verifying the
theme park availability calendar online to find out if reservations are still available for the dates of your visit.
I hope this helps you while planning, Stephannie. Come back to planDisney real soon for more tips and advice as you prepare your visit.
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
