Ahoy, Jose!
Welcome aboard planDisney! A last-minute weekend
getaway on the Wish? Now that is making a wish upon a star come true! The Wish is such a stunning ship, and I can already picture you and your crew stepping into that Grand Hall feeling like royalty ready to begin an enchanted adventure.
Since you’re asking about dining and special attire, let’s dive right in. Entertainment schedules are always subject to change, so you’ll definitely want to keep an eye on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once onboard—think of it as your very own magic mirror telling you where all the fun is happening.
Currently, your sailing is scheduled to have
Pirate Night on Day 2 (Nassau), which is the perfect excuse to grab your best pirate gear and let your inner Captain Hook shine—just, maybe keep the plank-walking to a minimum! And of course, weather permitting, you’ll be treated to fireworks at sea, which never fails to feel like a “whole new world” moment. Since this is a 3-night itinerary, you likely won’t see the full pirate-themed dinner menu because Disney wants to make sure every Guest gets to experience the incredible rotational dining entertainment at
Worlds of Marvel and
Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure (trust me, you don’t want to miss Oaken’s dance moves!).
As for a formal or dress-up night, 3-night sailings commonly keep it cruise casual. But here’s a little Disney secret—just because it’s not “official” doesn’t mean you can’t dress to impress! Many Guests love to add a touch of glam for their
night at 1923 since the dining room already feels like stepping into a golden age of Hollywood fairytales. It’s your cruise, so whether you dress like royalty or keep it comfy like Kristoff, it’s totally up to you!
Now, about changing your dining time—if you’re hoping to switch to the earlier seating, you can make that request right in the Navigator app under the “Next Steps” section of your reservation. If the earlier seating is full (which is common this close to sailing), go ahead and join the waitlist. And here’s a tip from my own experience: on embarkation day, stop by the onboard Dining Session (usually held in
the Triton Lounge from around noon to 3 PM, but double-check in the app). This is where you can chat with the Dining Team about dining changes, special requests, or even try your luck at snagging a last-minute
Palo Steakhouse brunch reservation—totally worth it if you can!
I hope this helps as you get ready to step aboard and let the magic begin. Wishing you a cruise filled with Marvel-worthy meals, Frozen fun, and fireworks so dazzling even Rapunzel would trade her lanterns for the view!
Sea ya real soon with a July full of fireworks at sea and memories that sparkle like pixie dust,
Dustin
