Hello, We are booked into the Campsites at Fort Wilderness. Our friends our visiting and staying in our camper for one night. Is this allowed? Can they overnight park at the outpost?

    Howdy, Hayley!

The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are absolutely lovely. On one of our Walt Disney World Resort family vacations, my parents brought down their RV to meet us. We loved visiting them at their campsite and checking out the resort. During the holidays most campers decorate their campsites and it's even more magical.

If you will be having overnight guests at your campsite, they should be added to your Resort reservation.  This will give them access to all of the amenities, especially the Comfort Stations, since they lock after a certain time and you will need either a MagicBand or a key card for entry.

Yes, they will be able to park at the Outpost Depot parking lot overnight and take the internal shuttle to your campsite's nearest stop. Once they're on your reservation, they'll be able to check in at the entrance.

Have a wonderful vacation, Hayley! If we can assist with anything else, please let us know.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
