Hello Laura! Thanks for visiting us at planDisney - welcome! I can understand why you have your eye on a
Fantasmic! Dining Package. For someone who never misses Fantasmic! when I'm at the Happiest Place on Earth, I like knowing I have a designated spot waiting for me.
Unfortunately, I have some not-so-great news though, Laura. As of recently, there are no longer Fantasmic! Dining Packages being offered at Blue Bayou Restaurant. However, it's replacement is my very favorite dining location at Disneyland -
Cafe Orleans! You'll find the menu similar to the Blue Bayou (hello, Monte Cristo!) and, if you request a table outside on the patio at check-in, you'll enjoy a dreamy atmosphere with picturesque views of New Orleans Square and Rivers of America.
I did a quick looky-loo at the
dining reservation availability for Cafe Orleans on your desired date, Laura, and it looks like there are plenty of time options to choose from. All you need to do is make a regular dining reservation for Cafe Orleans on the
Disneyland website or in the app, and let your host or server know you would like the Fantasmic! Premium Dining Package upon your arrival to the restaurant. You'll have your choice of either one of the two Fantasmic! performances that evening, too - so that's good news!
You can
cancel your dining reservation at the Blue Bayou now, or up to two hours before your reservation time, with no penalty. I tend to have a few dining reservations in my pocket and then make my final decisions as the time gets closer. No harm in having options! Just make sure to cancel any reservations you will not be using at least two hours prior to your reservation time or there will be a per person cancellation fee.
In just a few weeks, Laura, you'll be cheering on Sorcerer Mickey as he takes on evil along the Rivers of America. "Some imagination, huh?" And in the meantime, if you have any other planning questions as you prepare for your upcoming visit, or if you'd like some additional Fantasmic! viewing tips,
I'm all ears!
Dream a fantastic dream,
McCayla
