Hello! We will be in AK on Dec 19th and I can't seem to find the schedules for the shows. (LIon King, It's tough to be a bug & Nemo) I am planning my day around those three shows (and Kilimanjaro Safari, parade, caracter meet) What do you suggest? Thanks!

    Hi Monique,

I love planning ahead. It always makes my trip go more smoothly.

    I checked the online calendar for December 19th for Disney's Animal Kingdom - click here.  You will have several opportunities to see Festival of the Lion King: 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:45 p.m. & 5:45 p.m.

Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade is scheduled for 3:45 p.m.

Disney does not post all of its performance and character meet & greet schedules online.  However, there is an unofficial Disney website that usually posts show performances and meet & greet times about a week in advance - www.wdwent.com .  Although it is an unofficial site I've found the information to be pretty accurate and very helpful during my planning. The site typically updates schedules on Saturdays for the following week.

You could check their site a week or two in advance. Although it may be different the week of your visit, you can at least get an idea of what to expect & then check it the Saturday before you leave on your trip.

Be sure to pick up a Times Guide available at the entrance of the park, Guest Relations and most merchandise locations to confirm the times as schedules are always subject to change without notice.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
