Hello, We would like to add a person to our existing trip she is our 10 yr old niece we just found out has cancer will Disney allow us to add her and make reservations to parks on same day? thank you Neal

Hi there, Neal! Welcome back to planDisney!

It looks like your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth is just around the corner! Great news! You will arrive just in time to experience the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, my favorite time of year at EPCOT. Global Marketplaces throughout the World Showcase allow Guests to feast on flavors from all over the world. I love to look through the menus before I arrive to help map out my meals. This Foodie Guide to the festival will help you do the same!

Neal, it should be as easy as Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo to add your niece to your reservation as long as there is space in your Disney Resort Hotel room and theme park reservation availability. I'm sure this will be a trip she will remember forever! My heart goes out to your entire family as you navigate this new diagnosis. Here's how I'd recommend tackling the addition.

First, check the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to make sure your dates and parks are available for new reservations. If you see that they are, hop over to the Walt Disney World Resort Website and purchase theme park tickets for your niece. If you log into your My Disney Experience Account before purchasing, her tickets will be automatically linked to your account once you complete the checkout process.

Next, keep your own itinerary handy so you can make theme park reservations for your niece that match yours! Using the Disney Park Pass Reservation System, click "Make Reservations." Find your niece within the Friends & Family List connected to your account, then click "Continue." Find the dates on the calendar, one at a time, and choose the starting park that you'd like to correspond with that day. Confirm your selection and repeat for any additional days.

Finally, call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations to speak with a friendly Cast Member about adding your niece to your room. Again, as long this doesn't cause you to exceed the capacity of your room, it should be an easy add. If you need any additional accommodations or have a specific room request within the resort, this would be a good time to let the Cast Member know so they can make a note of it on your reservation.

That should do it, Neal! I do suggest adding your niece to your trip as soon as possible. Though it looks like there are plenty of park reservations left, you still want to lock in your dates and parks and make sure she doesn't miss out on the fun!

    Have a magical day,

    Ashley
