Hello Trying to get my head around the full board extra plus dining plan and what snacks and extra drinks you can have. Any help?

    Bonjour!

Welcome to planDisney, Ian! Thank you for taking the time to visit us with your question today about your trip to Disneyland Paris. On a Disneyland Paris holiday, my family always opt for one of the Meal Plans. My favourite part is the ability to prepay for meals ahead of time, so there’s no need to budget for food during our trip, we can focus on merchandise!

The Full Board Extra Plus Meal Plan is a great option and will definitely not leave you hungry! You’ll be able to enjoy breakfast at your Disney Hotel, no need to make a reservation, just turn up, and you’ll be seated, and don’t miss out on the Mickey breakfast cake, it’s a family favourite here! You’ll also have lunch and dinner, including one character dining experience during your stay. I’d highly recommend making a character dining reservation ahead of time for this experience. You’ll also have a voucher per night of your stay for an extra snack and drink, and this can sometimes cause a little confusion, but I’ve got you covered!

Many of the quick service and food-to-go locations around the Disney Parks offer this menu, and you’ll often see it referred to as Pause Gourmand. You can also find these locations easily on the Disneyland Paris app. Just tap “Map”, then tap the filter icon at the top right of the screen, select “Restaurants”, and then choose “On-the-go”, “Quick Service Restaurant”, and “Bars”, then tap “Go”. I prefer to view the results in a list - but you can also view them on the map, then select a location, and on that screen, you’ll see details of which dining plans are accepted. Just look out for “Extra Plus Snack and Drink”, and you’ll know you’re good to go, and you can even check out the menu on the app, too!

I hope this answers your question today, Ian, and that you have a great time snacking your way around Disneyland Paris! One more dining tip before I go, I highly recommend trying some of the buffet restaurants in the Disney Hotels. My family love Chuck Wagon Cafe over at Disney Hotel Cheyenne, it’s a real cowboy cookout! If you have any other questions as you continue to plan, please reach out to me. I’d love to help!

See you on Main Street, Paris!
