    Hello This is our first trip since our 14yr old son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. We are staying at All Star Movie and will be asking for a fridge. Can we rent or get a microwave for his dietary needs? Thank you!!

    Disney's All- Star Music Resort has a giant Buzz Lightyear, a Herbie the Lovebug, three story tall buckets of soldiers stairs, and a Fantasia Pool but microwaves are not available for the rooms. You are welcome to use the microwaves in the World Premiere Food Court.

    Be sure to keep juice or a snack in your bag when in the theme parks. I also have a family member with Type 1 diabetes and being half way through a line with someone whose glucose levels are quickly dropping with no remedy is not the best way to experience an attraction. Lots of walking and being off your regular schedule can sometimes cause blood sugar numbers to become low before you realize it so be prepared.
