Hello-staying at GF for two days in the park in July. Arriving early afternoon the day before. For dinner the first (non-park) day, would you recommend O'hana via monorail or T-Rex via bus from hotel? 3 year old loves Dinos!

Hey Tracy! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort has quickly become a family favorite. My kids absolutely love being able to play on the sandy beach and I usually had to do some serious bribing to get the kids away from the kiddie splash area!

On our last trip I took my three kids (ages five, four, and two) to the T-Rex restaurant at Disney Springs. We went on a whim and all that I can say is wow! The whole family really loved it here. There is so much to look at when you are in the restaurant and the meteor shower show is so cool! There are many different themed dining areas in this restaurant and we walked around looking at them all while we were waiting for our food. My kids also thought that this restaurant also had the best “kid food” choices at all of Disney. The gift shop and Build-A-Dino are also really fun places for the kids and they loved using the souvenir money that they earned to shop here. When you are done eating since Disney Springs just keeps on getting bigger and better there is a lot to see down here and my kids had a blast exploring World of Disney

For as much as I personally love to eat at ‘Ohana, I think that my kids really enjoyed the atmosphere and food that T-Rex offers! Also remember that dining reservations are highly recommended and can be made starting 180 days before your arrival date.

I hope that you have a magical time!
