Hiya, Chrissy!
Yes, there are at least three special parade viewing options available to Guests. First, parties who book
Disneyland Resort VIP Tours are eligible to request reserved seating for
parades,
stage shows, and
nighttime spectaculars. Next,
Dining Events offer guests access to preferred viewing areas for select
entertainment. Currently-available Dining Events include
Plaza Inn Dining Packages that include access to preferred viewing for the evening parade. Finally, parade viewing may be available with select seasonal
Guided Tours. Notably, Guests who book the
"Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort" Guided Tour can enjoy a special Holiday treat while they take advantage of reserved seating for
A Christmas Fantasy Parade.
My family and I recently returned home from a marvelous Disneyland Resort vacation, which included experiencing the current Plaza Inn Dining Package. I loved our meal of slow-cooked short rib, fried chicken, vegetables, and pesto-infused mashed potatoes. My favorite part of the meal was the delicious dessert, which was perfectly-themed for the brand new
“Magic Happens” Parade. Later that evening, we checked in at the preferred viewing area for the parade, which was set up in the Town Square area of
Main Street, U.S.A. We showed up early at the viewing area so we could enjoy curbside seating. The parade was beyond my expectations. Our favorite parts of the parade included The Sword in the Stone and Moana floats. And our young daughter was all smiles when Kristoff from Frozen 2 stopped by to personally serenade her.
Tony’s Tip: If you are a fan of
Plaza Inn fried chicken and decide to enjoy the Plaza Inn Dining Package, you might choose to request to be served two pieces of chicken instead of one of each meat. Note that the menu is subject to change. Reservations for Dining Events may usually be made up to 60 days in advance.
I hope you have a magical time enjoying the parade and other entertainment at the Disneyland Resort, Chrissy. Please stop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel again with any more questions you may have.
