Hi Bruce! Welcome back to planDisney.
I am sensing a joyous and festive visit is upcoming to
Walt Disney World Resort for some Holiday cheer. Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for any upcoming announcements about events and special offerings like
Foodie Guides that coincide with your upcoming vacation.
I really like the direction you are taking for planning your
Magic Kingdom Park day. First, even without a
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party ticket, you can make
Advance Dining Reservations up to the early closing time of 6:00 pm as a day guest. After your dinner reservation, you will be asked to exit the theme park. Often, on special ticketed event days, attendance can be lower due to the early closing time. This held true for me a couple of weeks ago on
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party day. By the time I left Magic Kingdom Park at 3:00 PM, I had completed my attraction and dining wish list.
If you happen to have
Park Hopper® Option Theme Park Tickets, why not head to the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays after dinner? This celebration features a
Holiday Cookie Stroll,
Holiday Kitchens, and many more festive-themed delights. Stay tuned for more details coming soon.
Keeping it Magical,
Cindy
