Hey there, hi there, Betty! Welcome back to planDisney and Welcome Home! I'm so happy to see you back here with another great
Disney Vacation Club question. It's so fun to chat with a fellow Member!
Don't you just
love being a DVC Member, Betty?! Knowing that your next magical getaway is always right on the horizon is simply priceless. The flexibility of the Points system and having access to endless options for
Disney vacations and
destinations across the globe make it so easy to book the vacations of your dreams, and being able to extend the life of your Points (up to TWO years!) by depositing them into
Interval International is the pixie-dusted icing on the magical cake. Points equal magic, so, let's chat about maximizing your magic and worldwide adventures!
You are correct that you
can deposit banked Vacation Points into Interval International for upcoming or future vacation bookings. You have up to 45 days before the end of your Use Year to deposit the Points, so, for your December Use Year, you have until October 16, 2022, to do so. Many Members have been returning to travel and taking advantage of this exchange more and more, so, if you are sure that this is the route you'd like to take, I recommend not waiting until the last day to deposit your Points and calling as soon as you get the chance. When you
call Member Services, first dial "1" to reach Member Services and then dial "4" to be connected with a Cast Member who specializes in Interval International exchanges.
Once you deposit your Points into Interval International, you can only use them for Interval International exchange accommodations, which, unfortunately, do not include any Disney Resorts. But Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries!" Click the blue "Book with Interval Online" button on the
Interval International page to see just how far the magic of your DVC Membership can take you!
I hope this was helpful, Betty! I'm wishing you happy booking and pixie-dusted travels. Please stop by any time with any vacation planning or DVC questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon,
Mandy
