    Hi Jessica!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
How exciting that your trip is officially less than a month away now!

As far as tipping goes, it will depend on the total bills at your table service dining reservations. Generally, I've found that you can count on anywhere from $15-$30 per Table Service meal to cover an 18% gratuity for a party of four.

Taxis are usually around $15 plus tip for an average ride within the property. If you're staying at a Disney Resort on the south end of the property and will be traveling by taxi from the Magic Kingdom area resort hotels after dining, you'll want to budget closer to $20/taxi for those trips. For additional little incidentals not covered by your Dining Plan, you'll want to budget an additional $20/day. These items could include an extra beverage or two, sunscreen or rain ponchos. We rarely use this 'extra money' ourselves, but I always budget for it just in case!

As far as spending money on souvenirs goes, that can vary all over the map! Having separate souvenir gift cards is certainly handy for everyone to stick to their own budgets and to 'prioritize' and purchase just what you really, really want. My kids always have their own Disney Gift Cards or Disney Dollars usually with $40-$60 each to last them for the trip. I encourage them not to spend on the first or second day during potential 'impulse' buys and instead encourage them to remember what they saw and plan to buy on one of our last days, after they've seen all the possibilities. Some of my favourite places to shop where there's a great selection include Mouse Gear at Epcot and World of Disney at Downtown Disney. I find these locations generally have a bigger selection, more stock and less crowds than the Emporium on Main Street U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom.

I hope you'll write again soon Jessica!
Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
