Hello, Our flight arrives around 8:30pm @ Orlando, from Canada. Do you think we're in the time frame to have our luggage delivered to our room by DME? Or should we take it ourselves on the Disney's Magical Express bus? Thanks! Lorna

    Greetings Lorna!

Disney's Magical Express is a fantastic feature that makes getting from Orlando International Airport to the Walt Disney World Resort super easy. I always feel like my vacation has truly begun once we are nestled in our seats and enjoying the videos that are played during the ride.

Luggage service is available between the hours of 5:00 am and 10:00 pm, so you should be arriving in time to have your luggage delivered to your room for you.  International travelers must retrieve their bags before heading to the Customs checkpoint. After the Customs process you can return your luggage to the transfer carousel, and the magic of Disney will ensure your bags meet up with you later at your hotel.

In my experience, it can take up to three hours for your luggage to arrive in your room.  For us, that is too long to wait for some of our items.  For that reason, we always pick up our own luggage and take it with us on the Magical Express motorcoach. Helpful staff will be available to help load and unload your in the compartment underneath the motorcoach. If you do decide to utilize the luggage delivery service, Disney advises that you keep all medications, valuables, and other essential items with you instead of sending them with your luggage.

Thanks for bringing this great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
