Hello there, Cathy!
planDisney is here to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation so you don’t feel like Elsa going “into the unknown.” I’ve helped quite a few people link their accounts with family members, so I’m confident that I can help you too. If not, luckily, you have lots of time before your vacation to figure this out.
First, everyone in your party will need their own
My Disney Experience account. If they don’t have accounts already, they will need to make them. Please note that whoever makes the account for the young Jedi in your party will manage the child’s plans for the vacation.
Once everyone makes their account, you can link them to your account in the My Disney Experience app on your mobile device. Press the three horizontal bars in the bottom right corner of the screen, scroll down, and select “My Profile.” At the top of the app, select
“Family & Friends List,” scroll down, and select “Add a Guest.” If my family is together in one place, I like linking my family together by scanning the linking code on their My Disney Experience app. The app offers directions on how to do this.
Once your family is linked together, you should see them all listed under your Family & Friends List. Don’t forget everyone in your party will need tickets, a mode of entry (e.g.,
Disney bands or
Disney MagicMobile Service, or a ticket from a ticket window), and a theme park reservation for each day you plan on visiting the theme parks.
I hope you found these tips helpful. Please
follow up with me directly if you need any other help.
May the magic be with you!
Melanie
