    Hello, Myself and my future wife are looking to dine in California Grill for the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular which is at 10:00pm. We have been provided with 2 dining times:7:50 PM 9:10 PM. Which one would be the better to choose? Thanks!

    Hi Marc:

    Congratulations on your engagement.  California Grill atop the Contemporary Resort is a wonderful romantic restaurant featuring delicious California Fusion cooking and spectacular views of the Magic Kingdom.  Dinner at California Grill generally takes an hour to an hour and a quarter, give or take, depending on how many courses you order and other factors.  Between your two choices, I would pick 9:10 pm.  The earlier time will work too, but you may be finished with your meal a bit too early and could find yourselves with some waiting around.  With the 9:10 pm advance dining reservation, you can enjoy the fireworks in the middle or end of your meal.  The restaurant will time your food preparation and service so you can step out on the roof deck to view the fireworks without having to worry about your food getting cold.  Of course, you may have a widow table directly facing the fireworks and may be able to watch Wishes from inside the restaurant.

    Either time is fine, but I would choose 9:10 pm.
