Hello My wife and I will be a Walt Disney World the end of January 2020 for a week. Have been checking daily Chef de France for the Dining Plan. Chef de France is still not showing being on the Dining Plan. At this point I guess we should make plans????

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Bob!

I love using the Disney Dining Plan when I'm on vacation because of how easy and convenient it is, and also because my family usually saves some money when we use it. Chefs de France in the France pavilion at Epcot is one of my favorite restaurants at which to use the Dining Plan because you have the option to order a three-course prix fixe meal for just one Table-Service credit. It's such a great value because you get that appetizer included with your meal, which is a really nice bonus!

In my experience of traveling to Walt Disney World Resort, I've noticed that dining locations don't all confirm their participation in the Dining Plan at the same time. Sometimes it takes some of the restaurants a little longer to announce that they will continue to accept Dining Plan credits. A good rule of thumb is that if they were participating this year they are likely to participate next year, but that is not a hard and fast rule. My suggestion for you is to go ahead and make your plans with the information available for the 2019 Dining Plan. The list of participating restaurants should be fully updated within the next couple of weeks, and since you can use the My Disney Experience app to modify your plans up to 24 hours in advance without penalty, you can relax knowing that your reservations are flexible and you can change them if you need to.

Have a magical day, Bob, and bon appétit!
