Hi Matthew,
Welcome to planDisney! Visiting
Walt Disney World during the holiday season is such a treat, with festive décor, seasonal snacks, and special events to enjoy. Be sure to check out
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park, where you can experience holiday-themed entertainment and rare character appearances. Over at EPCOT, the
International Festival of the Holidays kicks off on November 24th, bringing cultural traditions from around the globe, delightful holiday kitchens, and the stunning Candlelight Processional. It’s truly a wonderful time to visit the Most Magical Place On Earth!
I spoke with a Cast Member, and I’m happy to share that by your check-in date,
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will be fully dressed in its holiday best, including the iconic, towering Christmas tree in the lobby. It’s the perfect backdrop for enjoying a coffee or hot chocolate from Roaring Fork (the resort’s quick-service spot) and relaxing in one of the lodge’s inviting chairs. The ambiance is nothing short of spectacular, with warm lights and rustic touches that make you feel right at home for the holidays.
If you have some downtime, consider exploring other resorts to see their unique holiday displays.
The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is a must-visit for its life-sized gingerbread house you can admire and even purchase treats from. Over at
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, the holiday décor takes on a distinctive African-inspired style, and the lobby’s tree is just as breathtaking as the one at Wilderness Lodge.
If you have more questions as you count down the days to your trip,
feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to help with dining recommendations, tips for exploring the parks, or anything else to make your holiday visit extra special.
Cheers,
Brent
