Hello, My sons 5th birthday is January 26th and we plan on going to Disneyland. I read somewhere that birthday guest get in for free, is this true. if it is, is it too late? Also is there a special discount for SoCal residents?

    Hi there Chelsea!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your son is going to have the most magical birthday at the Disneyland Resort! There are so many ways to celebrate his special day and create memories you will all cherish for a lifetime.

Unfortunately there is not a promotion to get a free Park Ticket on your birthday at this time. I would suggest upon arrival to Disneyland Park that you stop by City Hall to get your son a free birthday button, though. When he wears this throughout your trip, don't be surprised if Cast Members and even some characters greet him with birthday wishes!

Chelsea, I do have great news about some special discounts for Southern California residents. Currently Disneyland Resort is offering discounted 2-Day and 3-Day Park Tickets for SoCal residents. Since you will be arriving at the end of January, you may be eligible for this offer. These tickets are valid January 8 through May 24, 2018, excluding blockout dates from March 23 through April 8.

During your trip you can also enjoy the exciting Lunar New Year celebration at Disney California Adventure Park. Don't forget to check the Daily Events Schedule so you don't miss out on any other exciting happenings during your stay!

I hope you have a magical day!
